Arriba Nacional – The exquisite cocoa from Ecuador
Our cocoa comes from the Arriba Nacional variety, a rare and valuable heirloom variety that represents only 1% of Ecuador's total cocoa production. This variety is known for its floral aromas and sharp flavor notes that offer a complex and vibrant taste experience. Compared to the common GMO cocoa varieties, which are more homogeneous and high-yielding, but less aromatic and nutritious, Arriba Nacional cocoa offers a more intense and unique flavor.

Our cocoa is made from the remains of old cocoa trees manufactured in the Manabí Province on the banks of the Portoviejo River. These trees not only contribute to a particularly aromatic cocoa, but also connect us with the history and traditions of the region.
