Pippali powder
Long pepper (black) is highly valued because it provides spiciness and does not increase Pitta much.
Particularly good for pickles, but can also be used as a basic spiciness with a sweet aroma for many dishes, especially rice and poultry dishes.
It strengthens the digestive fire (Agni) and can therefore also be used therapeutically. Please consult an Ayurvedic therapist for more information.

In Ayurveda, various powder preparations play an important role.
Some, for example, consist of only a single root which has been cleaned, ground and dried, and other churnam consist of a combination of different plants up to the most complicated recipes.
The churnam are often further processed or become part of a recipe again.
