Ayurvedic production

Traditional oils like Kshirabala Thailam are produced using an elaborate process:

• Herbs are boiled for a long time until a highly concentrated broth is produced.

• This broth is then further cooked with sesame oil and ghee.

• A herb paste is incorporated.

• The process lasts over 12 hours and is ritually accompanied by mantras.

The long processing time results in high-quality, deeply penetrating oils that are particularly well absorbed by the skin and also have a subtle effect.
